Be generous to others

Once upon a time, there was a rich merchant who had a beautiful and priceless diamond. One day, he decided to take the diamond to a distant land to sell it for an even higher price. On his journey, he stopped at a temple to rest and pray. As he was praying, a poor man entered the temple and asked the merchant for some food. The merchant refused to give him anything and continued to pray. The poor man left, feeling dejected.

After the merchant left the temple, he continued on his journey but found that the diamond was missing from his bag. He retraced his steps back to the temple and found the poor man he had denied food to holding the diamond. The poor man explained that he had found the diamond on the floor of the temple and was waiting for someone to claim it. The merchant was amazed and grateful, and he gave the poor man a share of the diamond's profits.

The moral of the story is that one should always be kind and generous to others, as good deeds are always rewarded.
